NOTE: If you have used "zaxxon’s method”, the list of objects can be inserted directly into the Venue.xml. Of course the process may take some time, but the results can be worthwhile. A script (Python for Blender) that exports the object with a custom.A script (Python for Blender) that imports into Blender.
The process is simplified with three utilities: as a ground on which objects can be placed.Īs a drawback, you lose the possibility of using "blending" in the terrain as the terrain used is not BTB’s but 3D objects that act as terrain. The BTB project has BTB terrain and roads allowing you to use both as "BTB ground", i.e.The normals have continuity everywhere and no weird lighting effects exist at the boundaries between objects. Terrain and road do not have lighting problems as they would if they were BTB terrain and road.
Thus, the terrain and roads used come from a 3D program in which, for example, road junctions are no longer a headache.
Yes this is possible but requires more scripting (=iterating through objects and test every one). You are good at advertising even the mundanest things: calling a 20 lines script written + quickly tested in 10-15 minutes to be a "developed" one is a rhetorical masterpiece :) As for your question(s): If I understand it correctly, you would just be able to unhide objects when they are selected (using the scene explorer for example) with one and the same hotkey/button.
